I spent the last few years exploringthe united kingdomand i want to show you my favoriteplaces so here's my uktop 10. united kingdom is made up of thecountries ofengland wells northern ireland andscotlandif you want to go back in time and feellike you're in a fairy tale or a harrypotter film the ukis the place for you it's easy to seewhy so many myths and legends were bornhereit's one of the world's most enchantingplaces all right so for our firstlocation we're gonna go visit possiblythe most iconic cityin the world london i've traveled moreto london than any other internationaldestination i have to say it's myfavorite city in the world and i juskeep coming backeverything from the double decker busesto the energy of piccadilly circusmakes the city feel so alive there'sjust so many places to seeyou can check out the iconic big bendand walk across the ridge to see thepalace of westminsterthere's the tower bridge which ispossibly the most famous bridge in allof londonyou can go see the stoic guards atbuckingham palace or take a ride on thelondon eye if you haven't already beenin london i'd highly recommend visitingwhen you can it's hard to beat thelondon atmosphere there's no city likeit in the worldall right so after exploring londonwe're gonna make the two hour driveover to stonehenge located in wiltshireenglandlies one of the most famous man-maderock structures in the world there's alot of mystery surrounding stonehengelike what was its purpose and how was itmade archaeologists believe it wasconstructedback between 3000 to 2000 bc stonehengeconsists of a ring of rocks eachbeing around 13 feet high and weighingnearly 25 tonseach it's unclear what the exact purposeof stonehenge wasit's believed that it was used as anastronomical observatoryor religious site either way it suremakes you stop and think how peoplethousands of years ago were able toconstruct this all right so afterstonehenge we're gonna head on over tothe jurassic coastwhile you won't find any dinosaurs hereyou might find some fossils on the beachthe jurassic coast is england's onlynatural world heritage site and it'sbecomepopular with its white cliffs andpicturesque beaches that are full offossils formed over 65 million years agoone of the most famous spots on thejurassic coast is dirty doorit's this limestone arch that goesstraight into the ocean there's a greatbeach there and i just can't think of abetter place to spend during the hotenglish summersone of my favorite spots on the jurassiccoast is old harry's rocksnow special thanks to my friend davidrule for providing this footage he hasan awesome instagram and youtube that'llprovide in the description below iremember the first time i saw hispicture of this place and i was justbaffled by the scenery there the oldhairy rocks are these sea stacks thatare made completelyout of chalk that mark the end of thejurassic coast in world war ii thestacks were used as target practice forpilotsso that's kind of crazy i just lov thecombination of the green meadows withthe white cliffs and the blue ocean imean it's just hard to beat that sceneryall right so after the jurassic coastwe're aheadup north to visit the country of wellsnow wellsis located in the southwest part ofgreat britain it's famous for itsmountainous national parkspicturesque coastline and distinct welshlanguageone of the most scenic places in wellsis the snowdonia national park it's aregion in northwestwells that is known for its mountainsand lakes the highest peak in wellsmount snowdon is located in the parkwith an elevation of 1085 metersyou can hike on up there or you can takethe snowdon mountain railway to the topif you're lucky you might be able to seeireland across the seaalright so after wells we're ahead tothe island mannow located in the irish sea rightbetween england and irelandlies a rugged island known for its rurallandscapes and medieval castles whileit's technicallynot part of the united kingdom it hasstatus of crown dependencyand the uk is responsible for itsdefense and external relations the iowaman has had an interesting historyhumans have lived on it since 6 500 bcand in the 19th century it was ruled bynorway but in 1266 the island becamepart of scotland and now it isself-governing islea interesting place on the island man ispeel castleit was constructed by vikings in the11th century street and just sits righton the oceanand it's a pretty cool castle if you askme alright so after the isle man we'regonna head across the seato visit northern ireland now ireland isfull of just beautiful scenerydramatic coastal cliffs and countlesscastles back in 1921ireland was split into northern andsouthern ireland as a result of thegovernment of ireland act of 1920.while southern ireland became a freeirish state northern ireland remainedwithin the united kingdomthe capital of northern ireland is thecity of belfastwhich is the birthplace of the titanicship one of the mosticonic places in northern ireland is thedark hedgescolumnsat the giant's causeway and there's justso much history and beauty in irelandit makes me want to go there and exploreall right so for our next location we'regonna head to scotland to visit the isleof skye this is probablymy all-time favorite place in the uk youliterally feel like you're in a fairytale when you visit there i was luckyenough to go to the isle sky last summerand it's about a five hour drive fromedinburghone of the most impressive places in theisle of skye is the old man of storeit's one of my all-time favorite rockformations i felt like i was on the setof game of thrones when i was there nowto get to the old mana store it's abouta four kilometer hike you walk throughsome conservation gates and you'll reachthe famousrock pinnacles i went for sunrise andsunset and both occasions werebreathtaking when i was there there wasjust like crows flying around the rockandthere was some sheep running around imean it was just a magical placeso the legend of the old mana store issupposedly a giant lived therea long time ago and when he was buriedhis thumb was left stickingout of the ground when you go there it'seasy to see why it's one of the world'smost iconic rock formationsit's one of my all-time favorite placesand i recommend everyone to see at leastonce in their lifejust a few minutes away from the oldmana store there is a breathtakingwaterfall called me out fallsthat cascades down at the ocean there'sa nice viewpoint where you can look atthe waterfall the surrounding sea cliffsin the area are also stunningone of the most famous is kilt rockwhich are right by miele falls i meanit's just such a cool area there aren'tmany waterfalls that fall straight intothe oceanif you're looking to find some fairiesyou may want to check out the fairypoolsthere are these pige blue pools that lieat the base of the blackcolons when i was there there were somany midges i didn't dare get close towater so make sure you bring some bugspray if you want to do a beautiful hikei'd also recommendvisiting the korang it's one of the mostbeautiful areas in the aisle sky youfeel like you're walking on a giant golfcoursei found this crazy vantage point to geta good 360 view of the whole area allright so after the isle of skye we'regoing to head over to the nearbyeileen donahan castle if you're drivingto the isle of skye you will drive rightby thisit's one of my favorite castles in theuk situated on a small tidal islandat the point where the three great sealocks meet the castle was built in the13th century i'm so mad at myselfi didn't visit the castle when i wasthere i wasn't able to check it outthat's one of my biggest regrets of wheni visit the ukso don't make the same mistake i madeall right so aftercastle we're gonna head over to one ofscotland's most iconic locationsthe glen finan vieta is located at thetopof loch shield in the west highlands ofscotland it was completed around 1898this may look familiar because it wasfeatured in the harry potter films wheni was there i wanted to get close to thebridge so i walked underneath it i wasjust shook by how big it actually wasafter i hiked to the top to get a goodvantage point so i could see the famoustrain go across the via duck just reallyreminds you of those harry potter moviesall right so after glen finanwe're gonna head over to edinburgh nowif you want to go back in timeedinburgh is a must it's where jkrowling wrote her harry potter novelswhen i started traveling this was one ofthe first cities i visitedit's a medieval old town with intricateneoclassical buildingscobblestone streets and beautifulgardens the iconic edinburgh castleoverlooks the city and is home toscotland's crown jewels when i was therei didn't go into the castle because iwas being too cheap but one of myfavorite places was calton hillit offers a beautiful view of the wholeentire city while we're still inedinburgh we're going to head over toarthur's seat now arthur cis located in holy rod park and it's ashort walk from edinburgh centerarthur's seat is an extinct volcano withan elevation of 823 feetwhen i was there i wanted to get as highas i could so i could see all ofedinburghi made a hike up and i reached the topit was just so windy when i was therenearly blew me over after i hiked to thetop i had a good time just hiking aroundholy red park and enjoying the views ofone of uk's most iconic citiesall right well that is it for my unitedkingdom top 10. the uk is just such aunique region in the world and i hopeall can
